งานมหกรรมสมุนไพรแห่งชาติ  ครั้งที่ 7

           

ทักทาย

            สวัสดีเพื่อนสมาชิกชมรมศิษย์โกมารภัจจ์ทุกท่าน ช่วงต้นเดือนกันยายน ระหว่างวันที่ 1- 5 กันยายน 2553 ที่ผ่านมานี้ ทางชมรมได้เข้าร่วมจัดแสดงสินค้าในงานมหกรรมสมุนไพรแห่งชาติ  ครั้งที่ 7 จัดโดยกรมพัฒนาการแพทย์แผนไทยและแพทย์ทางเลือก ณ อิมแพ็คเมืองทองธานี HALL 7  ภายในงานทางชมรมได้จำหน่ายพืชผักผลไม้ ปลอดสารพิษ รวมไปถึงสมุนไพรคุณภาพ OTOP อาทิเช่น สมุนไพรพรมเมศ จาก อ.โพธิ์ทอง จ.อ่างทอง ซึ่งรู้จักกันดีถึงคุณภาพสินค้าจาก ป้าสงัด พรมเมศ  ผู้คิดค้นผลิตภัณฑ์จากสมุนไพรอย่างไม่หยุดนิ่ง และสมุนไพรโพธิ์ดาว อ.บางศรีเมือง จ.นนทบุรี สมุนไพรไทยมีชื่อมาตรฐานส่งออก 

            คุณประโยชน์มากมายค่ะ ที่ได้นำมาฝากกัน ในงานนี้ทางชมรมได้รับผักและผลไม้จากเพื่อนสมาชิกที่ปลูกผักปลอดสารพิษจำหน่ายในราคาย่อมเยาว์ และได้มีผู้สนใจสมัครเป็นสมาชิกของชมรมอีกเป็นจำนวนมาก แต่น่าเสียดายเหลือเกินค่ะที่ข้อมูลที่เพื่อนสมาชิกได้ให้ไว้นั้น ได้เกิดอุบัติเหตุสูญหายในระหว่างทาง ทำให้ทางชมรมไม่สามารถส่งข้อมูลสมุนไพรดี ๆ อย่างเช่นเคยได้ จึงต้องขออภัยในความผิดพลาดมาในโอกาสนี้ด้วย

            ในฉบับนี้ เรายังมีสรรพคุณจากสมุนไพร ที่หาทานได้ง่ายในต่างจังหวัด  แต่ในเมืองนั้นหารับประทานได้ยากเต็มทีค่ะ ในงานมหกรรมสมุนไพรนั้น เราก็มีสมุนไพรที่ว่านี้จำหน่ายด้วย ได้รับความสนใจจากผู้เข้าชมงานเป็นจำนวนมาก นั่นคือ “มะขามป้อม” ที่มีสรรพคุณแก้ไอ ละลายเสมหะ เป็นยาบำรุง แก้หวัด กระตุ้นน้ำลาย แก้เลือดออกตามไรฟัน และ”สมอไทย”  ที่มีประโยชน์ในการขับเสมหะเช่นเดียวกับมะขามป้อม  แต่สมอไทยนั้นพิเศษกว่าก็คือ ผลอ่อนของมันนั้นสามารถเป็นยาระบาย ผลแก่ฝาดช่วยสมานแก้ท้องเดิน แก้ไข้ บิด อีกทั้งยังเป็นยาอายุวัฒนะอีกด้วย

            สุดท้ายนี้ทางชมรมได้มีภาพบรรยากาศภายในบูธชมรมศิษย์โกมารภัจจ์ ในงานมหกรรมสมุนไพรไทยมาฝาก พร้อมกับสรรพคุณสมุนไพรเช่นเคย  แล้วพบกันใหม่ฉบับหน้าค่ะ

นานาคุณประโยชน์ “มะขามป้อม”

          ทางชมรมได้เสริชหาข้อมูลจากอินเตอร์เน็ตพบว่า “มะขามป้อม” มีคุณประโยชน์มากมายกว่าที่คิดค่ะ อ้างอิงจากเว็บไซต์ http://www.doctor.or.th/node/1901 ที่ท่านได้อ้างอิงไว้จากหนังสือหลายเล่ม และจากเว็บไซต์ที่เกี่ยวข้องอื่น ทางชมรมขอขอบคุณในข้อมูลดี ๆ เช่นนี้ สำหรับสมาชิกของเราค่ะ

          ชาวฮินดูเรียกมะขามป้อมอีกชื่อหนึ่งว่า "อะมะลา" หรือ "อะมะลิกา" ตามพุทธประวัติกล่าวไว้เช่นเดียวกับมะม่วง นั่นคือในคราวที่พระพุทธเจ้าเสด็จไปเก็บมะม่วงนั้น ทรงเก็บมะขามป้อมมาด้วยสำหรับคนไทย บรรพชนได้นำหลายๆ ส่วนของ "มะขามป้อม" มาใช้ประโยชน์ในหลายๆ ด้าน อาทิ นำมาใช้เป็นยาสมุนไพรรักษาโรค เป็นน้ำผลไม้แก้กระหาย เป็นขนมหวานรสอร่อยปัจจุบันนี้ "มะขามป้อม" ยังคงทำหน้าที่ของไม้ผลยืนต้นที่ให้ร่มเงาและความชุ่มชื้น รวมถึงเป็นอาหารและยารักษาสรรพโรคให้กับมวลมนุษยชาติมาทำความรู้จัก "มะขามป้อม"Ž แบบเจาะลึกกันดีกว่าชื่อของมะขามป้อมชื่อพื้นเมือง มะขามป้อม (ทั่วไป) กันโตด (เขมร-จันทบุรี) กำทวด (ราชบุรี) มั่งลู่ สันยาส่า (กะเหรี่ยง-แม่ฮ่องสอน) ชื่อวิทยาศาสตร์ Phyllanthus emblica Linn.ชื่อวงศ์ มะไฟ Euphorbiaceae ชื่อสกุลไม้ มะขามป้อม Phyllanthus L.ชื่อสามัญ Emuc myrabolan, Malacca tree

          มะขามป้อมเป็นสมุนไพรที่คนอินเดียใช้มาเป็นพันๆ ปี ในฐานะเป็นยาอายุวัฒนะ บำรุงสายตา บำรุงสมอง ซึ่งคนอินเดียเรียกมะขามป้อมว่า Amla หรือ Amalaka แปลว่า พยาบาลหรือแม่ ซึ่งสะท้อน สรรพคุณทางยาอันมากมายของมะขามป้อมได้เป็นอย่างดี ปัจจุบันอินเดียมีการเก็บเกี่ยวมะขามป้อมเป็นสมุนไพรส่งออกในรูปแบบต่างๆ ทั้งมะขามป้อมแห้ง มะขามป้อมสด น้ำมะขามป้อมเข้มข้นหรือมะขามป้อมที่ผสมกับสมุนไพรตัวอื่น ทั้งยังมีการ จดสิทธิบัตรผลิตภัณฑ์มะขามป้อมทั้งในและต่างประเทศส่วน ของ "มะขามป้อม" ที่นำไปใช้ประโยชน์ราก น้ำต้มรากของต้นมะขามป้อม กินเป็นยาลดไข้ เป็นยาเย็น ฟอกเลือด และทำให้อาเจียน ถ้ากลั่นรากจะได้สารที่มีคุณสมบัติเป็นยาฝาดสมานที่ดีกว่าสีเสียดลำต้น มีเนื้อไม้แข็ง แช่อยู่ในน้ำมีความคงทนมาก ใช้งานได้ดี ใช้ทำเครื่องประดับ เสาเข็ม หรือใช้เป็นเชื้อเพลิงต้น เปลือก เป็นยาฝาดสมานใบ น้ำต้มใบใช้อาบลดไข้ใบแห้ง มีแทนนินมากใช้ย้อมเส้นใย เช่น ไหม ขนสัตว์ ให้สีน้ำตาลเหลือง แต่ถ้าใช้เกลือของเหล็ก เช่น เฟอร์รัสซัลเฟตเป็นตัวช่วยทำให้สีติดทนจะได้ สีดำดอก มีกลิ่นหอมคล้ายผิวมะนาว ใช้เข้าเครื่องยา เป็นยาเย็นและยาระบาย ยางจากผล รสเปรี้ยวฝาดขม หยอดตาแก้อักเสบ กินช่วยย่อยอาหาร ขับปัสสาวะ เมล็ด ชงน้ำร้อนกินแก้ไข้ โรคเกี่ยวกับน้ำดี คลื่นไส้ อาเจียน หืด หลอดลมอักเสบ และใช้ล้างตา แก้โรคตาต่างๆ เมล็ดเผาเป็นเถ้าผสมน้ำมันพืช ใช้ทาแก้หิดและแผลตุ่มคันต่างๆ น้ำมันบีบจากเมล็ดใช้ทาศีรษะ ทำให้ผมดกดำขึ้น ทาครั้งแรกๆ ผมเก่าจะหลุดร่วงไป แล้วผมใหม่จะงอกขึ้นมาดกขึ้นการศึกษาวิจัยเพื่อนำมะขามป้อมไปใช้ประโยชน์ต้านอนุมูลอิสระ : พบว่าสารจากมะขาม-ป้อมต้านอนุมูลอิสระได้ดีมาก แม้ว่ามะขามป้อมจะมีวิตามินซีสูงมากแต่ฤทธิ์ต้านอนุมูลอิสระมิได้เกิดจากวิตามินซีเพียงอย่างเดียว ปัจจุบันพบว่าในมะขามป้อมมีสารพวกแทนนินซึ่งประกอบด้วย emblicanin A 37% emblicanin B 33% punigluconin 12% และ peduculagin 14%ต้านแบคทีเรียผลมะขามป้อม ทำให้เป็นกรดด้วยกรดเกลือ แล้วสกัดด้วยอีเทอร์ และแอลกอฮอล์ สารสกัดทั้งสองนี้มีฤทธิ์ยับยั้งการเจริญของแบคทีเรีย แต่ไม่มีผลต่อเชื้อรา สารสกัดด้วยอีเทอร์มีฤทธิ์ยับยั้งการเจริญของแบคทีเรียได้แรงกว่าสารสกัดด้วยแอลกอฮอล์ ในความเข้มข้นขนาด ๐.๑๒ มก. ต่อ มล. จะยับยั้งการเจริญของเชื้อ Staphylococcus aureus, Salmonella typhosa และ Salmonella paratyphi และในความเข้มข้นขนาด ๐.๔๒ มก. ต่อมล. สามารถยับยั้งการเจริญของเชื้อ Staphylococcus albus,Salmonellaschottmulleri และ Shigella dysenteriaeน้ำสกัดจากเปลือกต้น มีฤทธิ์ยับยั้งการเจริญของเชื้อ Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus strain B, Pseudomonas aeruginosa และ Escherichia coli ผลต่อระบบหัวใจและหลอดเลือดสารสกัดจากผลมะขามป้อมยังมีฤทธิ์ป้องกันกล้ามเนื้อหัวใจตายบางส่วน โดยทดลองให้หนูใหญ่ที่ทำให้เกิดกล้ามเนื้อหัวใจตาย (โดยการฉีด isoproterenol เข้าใต้ผิวหนัง ขนาด ๘๕ มก.ต่อน้ำหนักตัว ๑ กก. ติดต่อกัน ๒ วัน) และกินสารสกัดด้วยแอลกอฮอล์จากผล ในขนาด ๑ กรัมต่อน้ำหนักตัว ๑ กก. ติดต่อกัน ๒ วัน ตรวจดูผลหลังจากฉีด isoproterenol เข็มแรกแล้ว ๔๘ ชั่วโมง หนูใหญ่กลุ่มที่ฉีด isoproterenol อย่างเดียว มี cardiac glycogen ลดลง และระดับของ SUOT, SGPT และ LDH เพิ่มขึ้นอย่างเด่นชัด ส่วนกลุ่มที่ฉีด isoproterenol และให้กินสารสกัดจากผลจะมีระดับของ cardiac glycogen เพิ่มขึ้น ระดับของเอนไซม์ SGOT, SGPT และ LDH ลดลงอย่างเด่นชัด นอกจากนี้ ยังมีการทดลองพบว่าสารสกัดของมะขามป้อมมีฤทธิ์ลดไขมันในเลือดทั้งในสัตว์ทดลองและคน มีฤทธิ์ต้านมะเร็ง มีฤทธิ์ต้านไวรัส มีฤทธิ์ลดการอักเสบ มีฤทธิ์ เพิ่มภูมิคุ้มกัน

มะขามป้อม
สรรพคุณตามตำรับยาไทยแก้หวัด
ผลมะขามป้อมมีสรรพ-คุณแก้หวัด แก้ไอได้ดี เป็นที่รู้กันในทุกประเทศที่มีมะขามป้อม จนปัจจุบันมีสิทธิบัตรจดในประเทศสหรัฐอเมริกาของตำรับยาที่มีส่วนผสมของ มะขามป้อมอยู่ระบุสรรพคุณในการแก้หวัด แก้ไข้ ซึ่งอาจเนื่องมาจากวิตามินซีหรือสาร ในกลุ่มแทนนิน อาการเป็นหวัด ไอ เจ็บคอ ปากคอแห้ง ให้ใช้ผลสด ๑๕-๓๐ ผล คั้นเอาน้ำ มาจากผล หรือต้มทั้งผลแล้วดื่ม แทนน้ำเป็นครั้งคราว

ไข้จากเปลี่ยนอากาศ
          ใช้มะขามป้อมสดตำคั้นน้ำดื่ม จะช่วยลดไข้ได้ ดื่มวันละ ๓-๔ ครั้ง ครั้งละ ๑-๒ ช้อนชา น้ำคั้นมะขามป้อมเป็นยาเย็นช่วยลดความ ร้อน และระบายความร้อนออกจากร่างกาย โดยช่วยขับปัสสาวะและระบายท้องไอ เจ็บคอ เสมหะติดคอ
          ตามตำรายาไทยเชื่อว่าของที่มีรสเปรี้ยวทุกชนิดช่วยละลายเสมหะ และหมอยา พื้นบ้านเชื่อว่ารสเปรี้ยวที่ละลายเสมหะและบำรุงเสียงได้ดีที่สุดคือมะขามป้อม ปัจจุบันมีการศึกษาพบว่าในมะขามป้อมมีสารที่ละลายน้ำได้มีฤทธิ์ละลายเสมหะ และที่โรงพยาบาลเจ้าพระยาอภัยภูเบศรมีการพัฒนายาแก้ไอมะขามป้อมขึ้นทะเบียนยาเป็นยาแผนโบราณ เป็นที่นิยมของทั้งผู้ใช้ยาและแพทย์ โดยตำรับยาทำได้ง่ายๆ เพียงแต่ นำมะขามป้อมแห้งมาต้มแล้วแต่งรสมะขามป้อมที่จะนำมากินแก้ไอ เจ็บคอ ควรเลือกลูกที่แก่จัดจนผิวออกเหลืองเมื่อมีอาการเป็นหวัด ไอ ให้นำมะขามป้อมสดมาเคี้ยวอมกับเกลือทุกครั้งที่มีการไอ ถ้าไม่ไอแต่ยังมีไข้อยู่ก็ควรอมมะขามป้อมเพื่อให้ชุ่มคอและขับเสมหะ เป็นการป้องกันการไอได้ด้วยละลายเสมหะ แก้การกระหายน้ำ ใช้ผลแก่จัด มีรสขม อมเปรี้ยว อมฝาด เมื่อกินแล้วจะรู้สึกชุ่มคอ ใช้สำหรับช่วยละลายเสมหะ กระตุ้นให้เกิดน้ำลาย จึงช่วยแก้การกระหายน้ำได้ดี หรือใช้ผลแห้งประมาณ ๖-๑๐ กรัม ถ้าใช้ผลสดประมาณ ๑๐ กรัม ต้มกับน้ำดื่ม หรือคั้นเอาน้ำสำหรับดื่มขับเสมหะ หรือช่วยระบายของเสีย ให้ใช้ผลสด ๕-๑๕ ผล ต้มหรือคั้นน้ำมาดื่มบำรุงเสียง
มะขามป้อมสดสามารถช่วยบำรุงเสียงได้ เพราะเวลาอม มะขามป้อมจะทำให้ชุ่มคอ คอไม่แห้ง เสียงจะสดใส นักร้องสมัยก่อนมักจะเฉือนลูกมะขามป้อมชิ้นหนึ่งมาอมไว้จนร้องเสร็จเพื่อป้องกันไม่ให้เสียงแห้ง

บำรุงผม
ผลแห้งของมะขามป้อมมีสรรพคุณ เป็นสารชะล้างอ่อนๆ คนอินเดียนิยมนำมา ใช้ทำเป็นแชมพูสระผม คนอินเดียเชื่อว่ามะขามป้อมบำรุงผม ช่วยทำให้ผมดกดำและป้องกันผมหงอกก่อนวัย ป้องกันผมร่วง ในอินเดียมีการนำมะขามป้อมมาทำเป็นน้ำมันบำรุงให้ผมดกดำ ป้องกันการหงอกก่อนวัยนำลูกมะขามป้อมมาฝานเป็นแว่นเล็กๆ ตากให้แห้งในที่ร่ม นำมาทอดในน้ำมันมะพร้าว ทอดจนเนื้อมะขามป้อมไหม้เกรียม แล้วกรองเก็บไว้ทาผมเป็นประจำ ยาน้ำมันนี้ ถ้าได้ เนื้อลูกสมอไทยและดอกชบาแดง ใส่ลงไปทอดด้วย จะทำให้น้ำมันมีสรรพคุณดียิ่งขึ้น ซึ่งตำรับนี้โรงพยาบาลเจ้าพระยา- อภัยภูเบศรได้พัฒนามาเป็นน้ำมันหมักผมมะขามป้อม สมอไทย และได้ใส่ดอกอัญชันลงไปแทนดอกชบา ซึ่งได้รับความนิยมสูงมาก วิธีทำก็ง่ายๆ ตามที่เขียนไว้ในสูตรน้ำแช่ลูกมะขามป้อมแห้งสามารถบำรุงผมได้ ขั้นตอนก็คือ นำลูกมะขามป้อมแห้ง ๑ กำมือ แช่ในน้ำ ๑ ขัน แช่ไว้ตลอดคืน เมื่อเวลาสระผมเสร็จแล้ว ให้เอาน้ำแช่มะขามป้อมนี้ล้างเป็นน้ำสุดท้ายมีการศึกษาพบว่าสารในมะขามป้อมช่วยกระตุ้นการงอกของผม และมีการจดสิทธิบัตรส่วนผสมที่มีมะขามป้อมที่ใช้กับเส้นผมบำรุงร่างกายให้แข็งแรง
มะขามป้อมมีรสเปรี้ยว ฝาด ขม เช่นเดียวกับสมอไทย จึงสามารถ แก้โรคต่างๆ ได้มากเช่นเดียวกับสมอไทยตำรายาอินเดียยกย่องมะ ขามป้อมไว้มากว่า เป็นผลไม้บำรุงร่างกายที่ดีมาก ตำราบางเล่มถึงกับกล่าวว่า ถ้าคนอินเดียไม่มองข้ามมะขามป้อม คือเอามะขามป้อมมากินเป็นประจำวันละ ๑ ลูก ทุกวัน เขาเชื่อว่าคนอินเดียจะมีสุขภาพสมบูรณ์แข็งแรงกว่านี้มากนัก ทั้งนี้เพราะมะขามป้อมบำรุงอวัยวะแทบทุกส่วนของร่างกาย คือ บำรุงผม สมอง ดวงตา คอ หลอดลม ปอด หัวใจ กระเพาะ ลำไส้ ตับ ไต ตับอ่อน ผิวหนัง แก้น้ำเหลืองเสีย ปรับประจำเดือนให้มาปกติ บำรุงเลือด บำรุงกำลัง ช่วยลดความดันเลือดสูง ปัจจุบันมีการศึกษาพบประโยชน์มากมายของมะขามป้อมในการลดความดัน ลดน้ำตาลและลดไขมันในเลือดการกินมะขามป้อมช่วยควบคุม โรคเบาหวานทางอายุรเวท พบว่าการ ดื่มน้ำมะขามป้อมคั้นสด ๑ ช้อนโต๊ะ (๑๕ ซีซี) กับน้ำมะระขี้นกคั้นสด ๑ ถ้วย ทุกวันเป็นเวลาสองเดือนสามารถกระตุ้นให้ตับอ่อนหลั่งอินซูลินและลดระดับน้ำตาลในเลือด ได้ การกินยาตำรับนี้ต้องมีการควบคุม อาหารอย่างเข้มงวด และยาตำรับนี้ยังลดอาการแทรกซ้อนทางตาจากโรคเบาหวานลักปิดลักเปิด
มะขามป้อมมีวิตามินซีสูงมาก และเป็นวิตามินซีธรรมชาติ ที่มีสรรพคุณดีกว่าวิตามินซีสังเคราะห์มีงานวิจัยชิ้นหนึ่ง ทด-ลองให้คนกินยาเม็ดวิตามินซีกับกินมะขามป้อมเปรียบเทียบกันพบว่า วิตามินซีจากมะขามป้อมถูกดูดซึมเร็วกว่าวิตามินซีเม็ด ทั้งนี้อาจเป็นเพราะในมะขามป้อมมีสารอื่นๆ ที่ช่วยพาวิตามินซีเข้าสู่ร่างกายได้รวดเร็วมะขามป้อมที่ผ่านการต้ม หรือตากแห้ง ทำให้วิตา-มินซีลดลง แต่ก็ยังเพียงพอที่จะใช้รักษาโรคลักปิดลักเปิดได้ ถ้าเก็บไว้ไม่เกิน ๑ ปี

กระหายน้ำ
มะขามป้อมสดๆ เมื่อรู้สึกคอแห้ง กระหายน้ำจัด ถ้าดื่มน้ำมากกะทันหันจะทำ ให้จุกเสียดไม่สบายได้ ถ้าได้อมมะขามป้อมก่อน อาการกระหายน้ำและคอแห้งอย่างแรงจะรู้สึกดีขึ้นทันที ไม่ทำให้ ดื่มน้ำมากไป เหมาะแก่การเดินทางไกล วิ่งมาราธอนเวลาอมก็ใช้ฟันกัดลูกมะขามป้อมให้พอมีน้ำซึมออก มา แล้วดูดลงคอไปเรื่อยๆ จนกว่าจะหมด

ท้องผูก
         คนที่ท้องผูกประจำ ไม่ว่าจากสาเหตุใดก็ตาม ถ้าได้กินมะขามป้อมแล้วอาการท้องผูกจะหายไปเนื่องจากมะขามป้อมมีรสฝาด จะทำให้กินยากไปสักหน่อย ควรปรุงรสให้อร่อย ด้วยการนำมะขามป้อมมาผ่าแคะเม็ดออก (กินแต่เนื้อ) ประมาณ ๑๐ ลูก ใส่พริก เกลือ น้ำตาล ตำพอแหลก กินต่างผลไม้ แต่ควรกินก่อนนอนหรือตอนตื่นนอนใหม่ๆ ในขณะที่ท้องว่างวิธีลดความฝาดของมะขามป้อม ก็คือแช่น้ำเกลือ มีขั้นตอนดังนี้ ล้างมะขามป้อมให้สะอาด ลวกด้วยน้ำร้อน และนำไปแช่ในน้ำเกลือที่เค็มจัด แช่ไว้สัก ๒ วัน รสฝาดก็จะลดลง ยิ่งแช่นานรสฝาดก็ยิ่งหมดไปไข้ทับระดู
นำมะขามป้อมแห้งจำนวนเท่ากับอายุของผู้ป่วย ลูกสมอไทยแห้งจำนวนเท่า กับอายุของผู้ป่วย ใบมะกาแห้ง ๑ กำมือ เกลือนิดหน่อย ใส่น้ำท่วมยา ต้มให้เดือดนาน ๑๕ นาที ในวันแรกที่กินให้กินเว้นระยะห่างทุก ๔-๖ ชั่วโมง ครั้งละ ๑ แก้ว วัน ต่อมาให้กินวันละ ๒ ครั้งครั้งละ ๑ แก้ว เช้า-เย็น กิน ๓ วันหาย หลังจากกินยาไปแล้ว ๑๒ ชั่วโมงอาการจะดีขึ้น คืออาการปวดหัวเมื่อยตัว ปวดท้อง ทุเลาลง
